Tbf, CS's sticky start and general lack of bonhomie meant there was and to some extent remains a degree of ambivalence about him. Morgan was a tough act to follow. However, I'm delighted at his/our getting some good recent results because 1. Winning is nice and 2. It should guarantee him the breathing to have a proper crack at the job. A couple of notes - Wheeldon, not the only member of Hull's Grand Final team that 'went south' and CS only had him for half a season 6 years laters. And Yeaman isn't in the current England squad, perhaps explaining our current lack of bleating on that score. The Uate stuff may bore you, but as you say we all like to be optimistic about our coach and look for positives in their credentials. Much was made of Gentle having been the, as opposed to the more accurate if less impressive 'an', assistant coach of Australia. Moving up the organisation you lot had the whole infallibility of St. Adam thing, until failure-to-take-Hetherington-down-a-peg-or-two-gate, at least. Anyway, this is our rumours thread (a poor, weak imitation I admit), so shaddup with all your jibber-jabber. I love a squabble thread, but not here. If you want a long, futile argument over this then invite us around your board, if your mods will have us.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
No need to worry about not crying, tommyfromhull cried for all of you.
Tommy is, at the minute, the front runner by some considerable distance, in the "Dummy spit" catagory for the end of season RL Fans awards. It was quite impressive to read, and made a good weekend, even better.

I feel his pain. Such impressive form in an Olympic year and the event is cut from the schedule.
I love Jamie and have done since he was 10 years old.

Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
Our rumour threads not actually very good is it. Not many rumours doing the rounds at all.
I think where, we're failing on here, compared to the one on the board above, is that we are waiting to post actual rumours we've heard, as opposed to what is at times more of a wish list.
