I was told about Rovers being after Kevin Naiqama a few days ago, I put it on here last week.

I am officially the person 'in the know' on here now. Everyone else just makes stuff up.

I'm no expert in all things rugby league and in particular I am not particularly up on players in Aus so i'll have to take your word for that. If Rovers can get a better full back than Shannon then fair enough, but I suppose my point is that Shannon is here now and in my opinion is performing extremely well in one of the most important positions on the pitch and so we should be doing what we can to keep him unless there is an obviously better player available that we can get (like I said, I don't know if kevin Naiqama is that player or not.)

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

He does look rather impressive doesn't he? Now look at his career stats and wonder why he's got so little 1st grade experience.

I'm sure Sandercock will know all about him, so maybe there are several irons in the full back fire.

Has he got a bad injury record or something roopy?

On a side note, glad we binned Sheldon off, roopy's miles better.

They've got a pretty good back 3 at Newcastle. Boyd, McManus & Uate. Before Boyd joined, Kurt Gidley would have their first choice fullback.

I think we'll see him at Rovers next year, decent prospect.

Agreed. roopy is a far better use of a quota spot. I'd like to think that in a couple of years we could have an East Hull lad carrying out the foreign correspondant role though. We are a community club afterall.

Use some of Jake Websters wages to top up Mcdonnells contract. The rest can be spent on Kevin Naiqama. Use Joel Clintons wages to sign Wes Naiqama. Scott Wheeldon, Liam Watts and possibly Scott Murrells wages can pay for Lopini Paea.
Easy init. I should have Mike Smiths job.

(If Mild Rover isnt too busy could he sort out the quota implications please? Ta.)
