If the reports are true (apparently on RH this morning) and SM is signing for FC then the 'reaction' on Friday won't be pretty.

In fact, and bearing in mind the importance of keeping momentum going, IMO there is a distinct possibility the reaction will affect the whole team and act in the Dragons favour, which is why I suggest SM be dropped for the game - a sort of cooling off period.

For goodness' sake. If it's true, it's simply a case of Rovers providing him with a shop window and FC paying a fair market value. Why vilify the player? :NAUGHTY:

Being selective again I see or did you just miss the 'substancial increase' part?
Before you say it yes he was undervalued on his current deal but I haven't read 'substancially undervalued' anywhere.

Before you say it yes he was undervalued on his current deal but I haven't read 'considerably undervalued' anywhere.

But he clearly wasn't undervalued when negotiated his 1 year deal at Rovers - he was a virtual unknown at that point but selected a one year term because he believed he was worth more and wanted to make a career of it here. Half a season later he's in the Exiles squad and you've got threads with the majority of Rovers fans extremely keen to retain him. His market value has obviously substantially increased in a competition with few good FBs. FC sound like they are willing to reflect this in a deal. Rovers either don't think he's worth it or can't afford it. Not sure what selectivity I'm applying here TBH.

Hi Andy

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

That for once is a good post I think it's the latter I don't think we want to throw silly money at players anymore I can see the positives and the negatives in this we have lost a decent player in Mcdonnell just hope for rovers sake next season they're not doing it on the mega mega cheap cos that ain't gonna go down well for season passes next year.

Even though it was documented that the deal was undervalue with an aim to get a increase for 2013 you mean?
I know it's hard for you to accept you may have had to pay above market value because you were so desperate for a FB what with yours going home but try not to take it out on us.
I do now wonder what you are paying captain pringle and Gentle though seeing as there signing policy seems to be 'What are HKR doing?'(Paea, Lovegrove, Watts, Taylor, McDonnell) maybe Sandercock should ask for a consultation fee.

Ano it's a shame that sherriff isn't ready yet, that was just an example Sheldon of how it makes fans feel on the opposite side of the rivers when a player swaps over.
