Today was rubbish. Carl said in the dug out that the York player went with their fans blessing. The difference is they have agreed for him to go to saints but at the end of the season. Fair enough letting Harris go but he should have only been released when we had a adequate replacement for him.
Miller isn’t up to this standard and what happens if Howden has a reoccurrence of his injury problems. A big week ahead I feel where quality reinforcements need to arrive, otherwise the season is over before June.

How nice to hear from you once again having a go at me when what I am saying is what hundreds of supporters are also thinking. Why pick me out as opposed to HAA or SO,is it because you can't understand constructive criticism as opposed to personal name calling and bad language.?It's not a rant but if having a personal go at me makes you feel better then so be it.When looking at some of your recent posts it appears that spelling is a bit of an issue but I didn't feel the urge to have a go.Still maybe that's because I'm considerably more grown up and educated than you. Til the next time................!!!!!!

contructive criticism is the easiest thing in the world to understand, what is,nt is the contant drivel that comes out of your mouth.just because some of us don't subcribe to your conspiracy theories, and your obbessive dislike of CH and CLUB DONNY we,re booty lickers or worse.ive supported this club since 1966 and believe me if you think nows bad,you should read the history of the club, ive seen a lot worse.what I find strange is your rants only come after a bad display, when we,re winning you are noticeable by your absence, and like I said its the same rant over and over again.your childish insults show you for what you are,and ar,nt worth bothering with.i worked in a prison for 11 years and there is.nt a name or an insult I have not heard.grow up.

Oh dear as I said,so many spelling and grammar mistakes.Prison really didn't do much good for you.Contradictory too in that you respond even though I am not worth bothering with.Shan't bother responding again myself though as usually I like to have a conversation with someone who shows at least some semblance of a brain.

Just because things were bad a long time ago that doesn't mean we have to put up with whatever is put in front of us, that performance today was dreadful! We are simply not progressing in any way and I even think carl is getting bored of all his guff and lies he tells on ITD, were heading into a 5th season in the bottom league and unless we get rid of what's holding us back were gonna be seeing the likes of Coventry and hemel a lot over the years ( but hey some folk don't mind that as long as we still have a club), I've never witnessed a set of fans like ours with so little ambition it's pathetic.

Anyway ... back to the game please!
DM said that Hunslet scored two debatable tries ... but they won by 19 points. Yes the game is a seesaw and momentum is everything so you have to consider that as well.

But I am interested in what we did and why we only scored 16 points.

The thrust of the predictions ... even from the negs was that we would beat them by 20 and the 14 given by the bookies was a licence to print money ... yet they beat us by 20 nearly ... a turn round of 40 points in expectations.
That's a hammering!

So ineffectual in attack and sloppy in defence was it?

Yes ... you're gonna get beat once in a while along the route ... but this wasn't one of them was it?

The truth is the faults in our side are consistent ones which no amount of tinkering appears to address ... if anything we are slowly going backwards not improving.

The club is doing nothing about them and it really does not sit well with our stated aims of promotion.

One thing the club can do is stop pumping out rhetoric about our chances, because it riles folk.

Or they can back up this rhetoric and get a proper team.

If anything we need to lower our expectations and be happy when we do win.

Because despite the rhetoric we are a club with average resources and pretending that we can go somewhere good is just wishful thinking.

So turn out and support and have a day out and hope to see a little good footy and no more.
There is no more to added.

Now the discussion is back to the game here’s my opinion. The best team won on the day. They wanted it more and it was that simple but saying that we were are own worst enemies and bombed some clear cut chances. I don’t have much to say about many players as I aren’t sure I can say just how poor the majority were. Only tali and kesik seemed remotely interested yesterday so I for one definitely agree with the mom. I just don’t understand how certain players can perform so badly nearly every week and still be giving a shirt.
Another point anyone got any clue on the sin binning because I haven’t a clue what happened there.

Keswick was head and shoulders above almost everyone today and deserved MOM.
Tali was excellent in defence in the first half but didnt get many chances to test the opposition with his powerful running ,as the ball rarely ventured outside the middle channel.

With Harris gone we need to find another quality half quickly or mid-table mediocrity will become a real possibility.

For me our starting props are poor and failed to match the aggression of a Hunslet pack containing five ex Dons , who showed more desire than they ever did in a Dons shirt.
They won the arm wrestle giving their backs more chances to play.

We are badly missing the workrate of England ,Cross and Braham .................if they are injured then lets hope they are not long term.

Osbourne looks to be another addition to Hull's injury list so two props and a decent half should be the clubs priority with some tough games coming up.

We will never progress as a club if the people at the top are never accountable for their performance, our play was slow and predictable, there was no excuse for that performance although a certain person will do his best on Thursday (my guess is injuries, bad luck, poor refereeing in that order). Agree with others about kes and tali they were the only 2 who look bothered and put a shift in, I'm beginning to think like s-o that horne is definitely not ready and some of his choices are questionable at best, the word deja-vu constantly springs to mind but fans forget we are the clients and we pay their wages we are more than entitled to ask for change.
