Well just about everyone I had a word with were scratching their heads a bit ... not about personnel so much as the position Miloudi and Owen were playing.
So no change there then.
Yes Owen got a couple of tries, but just about any old winger would have converted those two tailor- made opportunities.
Everyone thought that Miloudi should be in the halves and given the ball at just about every opportunity.
He scores tries and he makes tries.
We also tried to go wide before going forwards with the result that the ballboy was taking the final passes.
Hemel kept going and made things harder for us along with the usual amount of afters and provocation.
Very happy with 60-0.
We have to play to our strengths.
Tali, for instance, could have broken the try scoring record if we had set him up enough.
They wouldn't have stopped him.
Instead we fannied about down the right side.
I'm hard to please ... but I am not keen on wilful waste.
Jones-Bishop was outstanding in the second half as was Welham and our forwards really took the ball in well.
So really great but a lot more left in there waiting to be harnessed.
COYD
PS To be fair to Horne ... Miller is good, Harris is good, so he is sticking Miloudi at pseudo full back and Owen is co-fullback/winger.
That way Horne has three talented play makers.
Miloudi is fullback/half ... Owen is fullback/winger.
It looks that way to me.
Also I enjoyed it in the West Stand.
I like the concourse better .. People mingle and chat.
You can stand as well in a few places if the stewards let you.
I spend the entire second half standing ... loved it.
Like the old days.
And finally ... M for Miloudi ... M for magic!
