What's the reluctance to keep the fans updated on the current figure of the season tickets sold? if we have only just matched last seasons then the 1000 target is laughable.

Why cant we be given the figures for the number of sales instead of all the cloak and dagger nonsense.

The offer is great ,but if we have only sold 200 tickets by the end of November then the 1000 is very optimistic.
The barometer on the web site is showing less than 200 tickets sold , I know we still have just under a month to go but 800 tickets in four weeks..........really.
That is almost two home games worth of crowds if last year is anything to go by.

1000 was always very optimistic and never going to be reached (IMO) but I am disappointed with just 200

I know from my own experiences of running a subscription service (similar to a season ticket) that most people re-sign back up at the first opportunity, or at the very last minute. The period in between only usually sees a very small trickle.

Maybe I'm being overly optimistic but I thought 1,000 was at the lower end of the target range I would have set. Paying £60 for a season ticket is incredibly good value for money, possibly only paying £30 is virtually a give away.

The bigger concern I have is that if we can't sell season tickets at these low price levels, is there really an appetite for rugby league in Doncaster?

Doncaster Knights charge £24 to pay on the gate, or £22 for an early bird ticket, with under 16s paying £8.50. Their average home attendance last season was 1,737. Their highest attendance was 2,748, with a low of 1,079.

The Dons look as though they're going to be getting out into the schools and the community over the next few weeks. Hopefully, that'll give things a boost and we'll make some headway towards the 1,000 target.

That's a fair and good post mate

Hi guys after two weeks away due to having to reset my password, i was wondering if anyone had any sensible questions that would like to be asked for in the dug out.
Thanks
Baz

No questions from me, thanks, Baz.

I'm just a bit worried about your well-being if you needed two weeks away after having to reset your password. I hope you went somewhere nice. You're clearly missing the rugby... but we've not got too long to wait now. The season can't come soon enough for me.

I shall take it that you do not have any sensible questions then? If you know me personally then you will know I do not worship Club Doncaster or Carl, but i am a 30 years plus supporter of the Dons, who wants to provide a link from the fans to the club and vice versa.
