We signed Shad Royston from Batley. I remember going to Batley to watch the Dons shortly afterwards and one of their fans said to me, "You don't need a winger when he gets the ball. He never passes it!"

I agree with S/O. He was outstanding at full-back.

Nearly every successful side has a potent threat from full-back. We look as though we might have got it sorted this season.

He has and to be fair Shad did have the benefit of chiming
into any attacking line led by two very good stand offs in Manson
and Holroyd.

Excellent signing and nice to see we have moved quickly to replace Carr rather than just going with what we had got which has seemed to be the way things have been done in the past. Fingers still crossed for another prop though.

Decent stats, tries / appearances whilst at Cas and Wakey. Looks a potentially top class signing.

Was it shad Royston who scored a few tries where the hooked picked the ball up and looked at the ref as if he blew the whistle and gave it to Holroyd who then passed back inside? I think this move also got banned
