Last game before the 8's. We still have an outside chance of finishing 4th. Not want to state the obvious we need a big win against probably the best of the new teams .

Tom Carr should be available after serving a 2 match suspension .

Fourth place will need a fair bit of luck to go our way IMO. I would be pleased if we win and not pick up any injuries at this stage. What is the date of the first game of the eights anyone please?

I think they have a blank weekend after the Gloucester game. The next phase starts the weekend after on Sunday 30th July.

Finding anything out from the RFL's Operation Rules guide is an absolute nightmare. They've got a document on their site containing 501 pages but without any references to the page numbers for each of the sections. Even when you get to the sections it doesn't seem to mention the fixture schedules, although I may have missed it.

Last year, they explained the format for the fixtures depending on finishing positions before the league splits. I can't find that in their document this season.

Sunday's squad:

Makali Aizue, Mark Castle, Kieran Cross, Reece Dean, Sam Doherty, Brad England, Pete Green, Jordie Hedges, Aaron Jones-Bishop, Mike Kelly, Kyle Kesik, Charlie Martin, Jack Miller, Feka Paleaaesina, Connor Scott, Louis Sheriff, Jamie Thackray, Liam Welham, Ryan Wright.

Carl said in today's In The Dugout that there are no injury problems at the moment. If that's the case, it seems odd that there's no place for Jordan Howden.

I would imagine Richard Horne will give AJB and Mike Kelly an outing.
