Loans and DR are a tricky beast because on one hand we need to get out of this division whilst on the other hand we need to be building a team for our own future.
The other issue with regards to DR/Loans is that it can cause disharmony amongst the players as one of the squad usually has to miss out when someone else is brought in, unless they're brought in purely to cover for injuries.
The other disadvantage to DR is that the players who may have helped you get into the play-offs might not be available when the big matches come around, as the needs of the parent club come first.
I'm sure there is a place for DR/Loans but it has to handled carefully, with the right balances put in place, and a lot of forward thinking included.
