Why we did not play , like the 2nd half v Leeds, in the match v York ?
We were a different side , trying short kicks etc ., we looked sharper , discipline was better & ball retention was better . I appreciate we had nothing to loose but it was much better to watch .
Please lets build on that.

The two games against Toulouse last year were the same. The team attacked, tried things and looked exciting. TO13 were seriously tested as the Dons moved the ball and went for it. Why can't the team build themselves up for the games against arguably lesser or equal teams ?
Surely it's a question of motivation and attitude ?

first of all well done to the team for a big second half performance and a big well done to the travelling fans. The question is did GT give the mother of all time half time talks,? or did the TEAM throw his (GTs) tactics/plans out of the window and play to their own strengths/skills. mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

As Toya sang it's a mystery, its a mystery a mystery to me.
But 2nd half great rugby moved the ball about at speed and made leeds work.
We won the 2nd half 24-20 and this was no leeds 2nd team.
As said why don't we do this every match if we did we would blow most teams away and
would even have stood a chance against toronto.

Can someone explain how Toronto ... clearly max-ed up moneywise can just go and sign Ryan Brierley mid-season?

And the Dons can do fook all and pretend there is nobody out there available.

Double standards rule in this pisspot called rugby league.

Tubby of Sheffield fame is currently in the South of France recruiting.
Yet there is nobody to be had.

When you see a club like Toronto sign a player like Brierley when they don't desperately need him and compare that to us who would have to run a begging campaign to sign him.
Then you know we are poop!

I donot see how you can compare Toronto & Doncaster. They have sold 7k season tickets we have not sold 700. They have sold out their 1st home game we will not get that figure over 10 home games.

OK .... I will make it again and try to be clearer.

Toronto HAVE just signed a quality player and the Eagles are looking at quality French players ... mid season.

Yet when we moan about having no quality half backs we are met NOT with a money excuse but that it is virtually impossible to find quality players mid-season.

If Toronto are using the £1.85M salary cap to the full, they could afford to pay £60,000 in wages to 30 people.

Players are always available if your pockets are deep enough. Paying transfer fees in mid-season for players already contracted elsewhere doesn't happen very often, but that was the case with Ryan Brierley.
