Yes, Dave Woods made me smile with that comment.

We quite often play amateur teams on a Saturday when drawn against them in the cup. I see the Rovers are due to play Accrington at home on that Saturday. I'd guess that Sunday will be the only option. Hopefully, we'll hear something from the club shortly on this one.

o/t met Dave Woods after the Dons folded after Desmond ! Was on holiday in Newquay we had a good chat one evening , it was just before we re formed & started back playing at Belle Vue !

I bet not many people are aware that Maurice Lindsay was considering taking over the Dons during this troubled period for the club.
