But the DR ruling still applies so in theory, Donny or whoever could draft in up to 5 (? *) players from Hull FC to help them in the '8s' ?
(* whatever the RFL ruling is on DDs)

Subject to the other provisions of this Operational Rule, once a Player has played for any Club in any Competition (other than the Reserve Team Programme of Matches)after the end of the Super League or Championship Regular Season (or after Round1 of the League 1 Super 8s and League 1 Shield), whether that be the Club with whom he is registered, the PLAYERS Operational Rules

The above provision shall not apply to Dual Registered Players who have played 8 or more Matches for their Dual Registered Club
before: (i)in the case of Championship Clubs, the end of the Regular Season; and (ii) in the case of League 1 Clubs, the completion of Round
1 of the League 1 Super 8s or League 1 Shield, who shall be entitled to continue to play for the Club to which they are registered and the Club to which they are Dual Registered after the above date.
To be able to continue to play for a side on DR, a player must have played for them in 8 games up to and including the first round of the League One Super 8s. As Carl has mentioned, Feka needs to play one more game to qualify; that must be in our first Super 8 game or else he won't be qualified to play in any further matches. Feka will then be the only Hull player who will be able to play for us for the rest of the season.
The other interesting part to the rule is that players who continue on DR cannot play for their parent club again that season. This means Feka wouldn't be able to play for Hull. This may impact on the likes of Rochdale as Bernard Julien and Tom Lineham both played last Sunday (on DR from Warrington). I wonder if Tony Smith will mind them not being available for his first team for the rest of the season, which will be the case if they play for Rochdale next weekend.
