What difference does it make where the clubs finish within the 2nd (or losing finalist),3rd,4th & 5th places ?
Is it 2 (or losing finalist) v 5 and 3 v 4 ?

That is correct losers of 1v2 play 5th at home & 3rd play 4th.

The game has now been swapped to Thursday 8th September. We've got a bit more of a rest after the Rochdale away game, and less of a rest before the Skolars at home.

We're giving ourselves two chances! The BBC site is showing the Wednesday game as postponed, with it now being down as Thursday. That's where I got the info from. I think it makes sense to have an extra day's rest after the Rochdale game.

Less of a break before the London game. Probably to do more with the availability of the Bootham Crescent pitch .
