That is correct Baz I feel they will win the 1st v 2nd match as well as coming first.

Have said this before play everyone twice & the top 2 get promoted & bottom 2 are relegated. This would apply to all leagues . Ditch all 8's & play offs.

That makes it four weeks between home fixtures. No wonder I'm losing interest.

Should be more meaningful matches from now on.

At least we're out of the car park and back in the stadium. Hope we don't rough up the grass too much for the footie boys.

The last game I saw on the Keepmoat pitch was against Barrow and the next one will be against Barrow over three months later.

I did miss one game due to being abroad. D

I can't help feeling that the side that goes up withToulouse (a given I think), will be the side that has fewest injuries to their playmakers. We already have an injured playmaker who could breakdown at anytime with NO credible backup apart from maybe Carr.
So potluck for me ... I hold no hopes that the Dons will be sufficiently better than Rochdale, York, Keighley or Barrow to escape.

But of course it's a possibility.

this is exactly what I have been banging on about all season, massive gaps between home games , kicked out of our own ground to play at a third rate facility, Like most sensable people I book my hols and weekends away to blend in with the fixtures of my beloved Dons, But when the fixture list mainly reads TBC< what are you supposed to do. Now we are in the top eights and guess what for two of the home games we have weekends away booked and paid for. The RFL have,nt got a clue. No wonder interest is waning even among the most dedicated fans. Waited all season for top opposition and going to miss it.

By the end of the 1st 2 games, if we beat York away and Barrow at home. We could be in 3rd place clear by 3 pts from York.
which would put us in an excellent position, as York play Toulouse away in there 2nd match.
we just need to grab it by both hands and hopefully GT will see this and drum it into the players so we are not chasing someone else.
lets put the pressure on the others to catch us.
Everyone will be losing points somewhere, we just need no injuries [or suspensions hopefully] and a decent run of form.
Looking forward to it, but it does seem to have taken an age to get to the important part of the season.
