Batley v Dons Sunday 5 July 2015 : Fri Jul 03, 2015 2:52 pm  

I can't help thinking that it sums up this season that we have got to almost tea-time on Friday without having a thread started for the week-end's fixture. Must be unheard of and sadly suggests a distinct lack of interest.

I will immediately point out that this is an observation and definitely not a criticism. I won't be there myself so I am certainly not 'casting stones'.

I think a lot of people prefer to use facebook to be fair. As for the game, with the way we look confidence wise, hard to see us winning, but I live in hope.

I don't doubt that, I just can't recall getting to this time on a Friday with no game-thread.

Thought Nicklas needed more game time and with Mennel in the 2nd half last week we started to show a few more attacking options. Walton (2 tries at London I think it was) should be available and better than some of the options in the squad. But only my opinion.

Maybe like a battered housewife some of us have had enough and are taking a stand! (dont worry i haven't opened my 4 cans of stella yet )

... and those that do would get no argument from me ...

Sadly, for a great many, the joy has gone out of watching the Dons based on this Season's performances (and I do mean performances - we couldn't expect a repeat of last season's 4th place finish but we were entitled to expect better performances than have been served up this season).

Ah so that's why no Walton. Good luck to him but suppose getting him used to championship 1 rugby!
