Dons v Bradford Bulls Sunday 26/04/2015 : Sat Apr 18, 2015 9:01 am
Things don't get any easier! Next up the former Super League Bradford Bulls.

Not a fixture we are used to, our only recent clash being an away 2012 Challenge Cup tie which unsurprisingly resulted in a heavy defeat (72-6), although the Dons did have a moment of glory when scoring first.

The Dons have lost Lee Waterman but have boosted the ranks with recent signings Matt Groat, Peter Fox plus Ben Reynolds on loan from Leigh.

On the injury front, Pas Dunn is close to a return but Danny Cowling and Richard Wilkinson remain a few weeks away and Craig Robinson's season may well be over.

Former Dons Jay Pitts and Lucas Walshaw are currently at The Provident Stadium (Odsal).

In the other relegation battles, Whitehaven are home to Featherstone and Workington are at home to Hunslet.

Hunslet have 6 points, Whitehaven and Workington have 4 points each. I think we could do with a Hunslet win to keep the Cumbrian sides within closer range.

Looking at the slightly wider issue, Whitehaven and Workington have got to play each other twice more this season, which means that if neither side gained another point against other teams in the league, and they shared the four points between them in the two games, they would both have 6 points. If one team won both matches, one would have 8 points.

As we've got to get above both of them we'd be needing a minimum of 6 points plus points difference to be on our side, or 8 points plus points diff if one of the Cumbrian teams wins both the matches against each other.

It's hard to believe both teams will draw a blank in all of their "other" matches, which makes me think that we need a target of at least 10 points to have a realistic chance of staying up. Wins at home to Workington and Whitehaven are absolutely critical or else I think we can kiss goodbye to staying up. We need to find 6 more points from somewhere, with perhaps the two games against Hunslet being a couple of our best chances.

It's hard to imagine us beating Bradford on Sunday but it's really important that if we lose we keep the points difference down, as it could be a major issue at the end of the season. Current points differences are: Workington -100, Whitehaven -160, Dons -155.

Sure its been asked before - but need to know - if we park in the shopping centre car park - will we get a ticket or locked in if we stay for both games?

Is there any handy on-street parking nearby?

Thanks

I've parked in the shopping centre car park on many occasions, and at the car park at the Doncaster bowl, never had a problem.
