I'm starting a new thread to stop the Hunslet one getting sidetracked.

After the result today I think it is time to accept some home truths and for the club to admit that they got things wrong.

However I'm not expecting that. The Rovers management won't allow that.

What will happen will be a club official will come on here under an avatar name and acuse me of not being a true supporter.

But to honest I just don't care. I just don't care about the Dons anymore. The club doesn't care about its supporters anymore so why should I?

Feel a little bit like that myself to be honest. Rovers now having a controlling interest was never a good idea. When the 'community' stadium was built it has Rovers coloured seating, all the advertising is Rovers based. The whole thing stank. And why don't they relay the pitch in the middle of the football season? Any gardener will tell you the best time to plant new grass is September/October!
Now we plebs can no longer use the bar on matchday and my enthusiasm has waned.

I've been saying since the terrible friendlies,
how many of the first six league games would we win?
I was poo pooed ...
I cannot predict our first win, I seriously can't.
It will come ... but we are seriously shot below the water line.

Got to agree with the above, also everyone else except club doncaster could see all the other teams recruit well for the season whilst we went backwards

I've voiced my concerns and some thoughts and also been shot down by the apologists.

Something has to change and change quickly before the other teams are out of sight and the season is a right off.

They fooking disappointed their fans yesterday AGAIN at home to nobodies.

Yes lets blame the situation on folk who side with the club and then get called apologists. Yes its my fault bring it on. It's the Dons for crying out loud what do you want a letter in the post saying Dear Steve, Dear Brian we are so sorry we got the recruitment wrong. You are right and we know shock all about running a rugby league club. I am surprised that given the Knights excellent result yesterday that somebody hasn't said we should be a Castle Park and pitch in them them. It's been a while.

So, is someone who comes on and voices a contrary opinion to the masses an apologist?

There are undoubtedly some issues that need resolving, but at the same time, I still feel there are some fans of the club who are enjoying the failings of the Dons a bit too much, but, I can't say that, as I'd get accused of being an apologist...

All I can say is Remember 2013, similar start same old moaning and then what happened
