If it ain't broke don't try to fix it.

Train a street cop to kill someone and give him a gun and the danger is he will when he shouldn't.

Give these clowns an admin job and
they will do the same ... kill the game.

They feel that they have to do run the game like accountants would ...

The answer is to market the game better and get interest and sponsorship up ... but they are rubbish at that as they showed with the Stobart deal.
War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

Thank God I'm an atheist.

Spot on. I hope they've learned lessons from the Stobart debacle.

One of my concerns is that the RFL could believe that by having 20 elite teams, and forcing them to have second teams, the better clubs would be able to better manage the talent coming through as they would potentially be better coached in that environment than in the present system.

The non-elite teams would then have to pick up players further down the chain. That would lower the quality of the games played. The non-elite sides would probably not be able to exist at a semi-pro level. It could well spell the end for many League One clubs.

Should they go down a 20 team route, the current 12 in Super League would be included. Who would the RFL choose as the other 8?

1) Toronto 2) Toulouse 3) Leigh 4) London Broncos 5) Featherstone 6) Halifax 7) ? 8) ?

Eleven of the following 13 teams would be consigned to the scrap heap: Dons, Batley, Dewsbury, Rochdale, Swinton, Sheffield, Workington, Whitehaven, York, Keighley, Hunslet, Newcastle, and Oldham. Surely that wouldn't be right or fair?

I would like too know ,how we raise £125,000k with the same handful of companies sponsoring over and over.

The club need to encourage new money to invest in the club, give a couple of the numerous empty hospitality boxes away to try and generate more revenue streams.

How many different companies have sponsored games over the last few years, it seems to be the same two or three every other week.
I admire them for pumping money in to the club but surely we need to try and expand our sponsorship pool to encourage more bums on seats.

Yes all the boxes are sold out for Bradford ,but this is a one off, why not look at raffling them off or an auction at the game before.
Surely a couple of hundred quid is better than them being stood empty.

The unknown figure is the amount Club Doncaster are putting in (and I don't particularly want to know) its up to the parties involved, I'm just a fan who is enjoying the rugby we are putting out.
Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies.

I take a keen interest in the club and attend the fans panel meetings but like Moonshine, I'm not particularly interested in who contributes what. I don't have any expertise in that side of marketing so I'm quite happy to leave it to the people who understand it better than I do, other than to say that the club do seem to have had good success on the corporate side compared to the successes we've had at getting new fans to the club.
