And Bateman in the centres again! Got a quality centre in the team in Jake Connor and yet he's still persisting with Bateman who is a below average centre but a very good back rower. Seriously don't understand some of this guy's choices. And I know he has a good record and reputation in the sport but I can't imagine he built that by playing people out of position all his coaching career.

I for can’t wait to see WB away from the England team. What’s his desk with playing Bateman out of position every time? Why not play Connor there who has been brilliant at that position during the season instead of playing someone who doesn’t play there for there club?

I can only assume Connor is held on the bench so he can come on at to the full back/wing/centre or in the halves. Should there be an injury or anybody just not performing.
But Makinson can also cover in the backs so it seems weird to have them both in the bench.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if either of them never get on the pitch.

No back row cover on the bench so he'll mess about moving Bateman to back row and bring on one of Connor or maintain to cover. I wouldn't be surprised if he brought Connor on to give Hodgkin a break at hooker

Jakey boy going great so far. Massively changed this game. Hope he keeps it up.
Also think Taylor has shown up well with strong carries and been heavily involved in the tackle to prevent them scoring (when it went to video ref).
