"He had to be told by our players that he was wrong" Was this because decision were going against them? I can't imagine Gareth Ellis going "ey up ref, you missed a high tackle on Luke Gale by one of our lot. Shoulda been a penalty."

I'm sure there were some blunders last night and bizarre ones, and if you want to have a go at someone it should be at Ganson and the RFL.

For me the RFL needed their bumps feeling when appointing Ganson as Head of Officials. The standard of performances by the officials is questionable and the RFL should take a long hard look at this. For me Ganson should be relieved of his position with immediate affect as the standard and quality of the official not only game by game by half by half is certainly what should be expected by full time officials. The arrogance of the man seems to have rubbed off on the current crop of untouchables.

Completely agree with this. Under his management, the standards have plummeted plus we've lost a number of refs in questionable circumstances

It was a changing to one of the new rules, and seeing as he's a referee. It's his job to know these, which he didn't until our players reminded him.
