Poor from the rest of the forwards, with both wingers doing more work (twice as much in some cases) then most of the forwards.

Great effort to stop Makinson but he didn't so does that not count as a miss? Harsh but still a failed tackle attempt.

That's a good point and not sure on the answer,68 tackles is still an unbelievable effort though

Absolutely and not trying to criticize.

Often wondered how these things are calculated.

Both for tackles and missed tackles.

For example. The third person into a tackle that in effect is already complete. Do they get a notch on the tackle count for that?

Should not tackles resulting in penalties also be included in the stats? The picture of Houghton's tackle in HDM today presumably resulted in a penalty as he appears to be holding his opponent's head in both hands.

Bad day at the office for you lot.

Caught Saints with a new coach who just told them to play. You were a bit limp it has to be said but you were unlucky to catch Saints on that particular day - they won't play better this year - you might.

Your strip was staggeringly awful by the way though I don't think it affected the result

Sorry but disagree . He was one of the players who ran hard and straight at the weekend. Think he will turn out to be a good signing for us
