If you think about it, the system actually makes sense. It makes it easier for players who perhaps are frustrated by a lack of opportunities to move out on loan to a club that could afford to take their full wage on the cap, but couldn't afford to physically pay it.

No, the point is that Wakey have enough room on the cap to have his (60k p/a) sit on it, but the two months will actually only cost them 8k (assuming Hadley earns 4k per month, which is a complete guess).

In his fifth season, well established, 24 years old - must have 50 odd super league games ?

Experience & physical maturity not surprisingly ahead of the younger guys which will be reflected in his contract. I am a big fan & really hope the club don't dispense with him. Hopefully just salary cap issues the club needs to juggle at the mo ?

Wakefield might not even be paying that, it could be that Hull are basically paying Wakefield to have Hadley on their cap and play for them

I saw him outside the ground last night with his family. He was wearing his Hull FC club gear so maybe his wakey stint is over?
