Too many people have watched the highlights package and got carried away

The passing throughout the squad is simply not up to standard, -IMO.

When we get near the oppositions try line, we look as if, we dont know what to do,
we need more than a kick from Sneyd, or a piece of individual brilliance from Fonua.

We need to appoint someone like Deacon, even (Cooke) Brough, as a skills coach,
these guys could bring another dimension to our attack...

we dont need Brough as a coach we need him or someone like him playing at six

He is most effective running wide.
You dont see Ben Currie taking drives down the middle he is used correctly by Smith staying wide using his power and pace and scoring tries.
Play him wide left with Tuimavave at left centre to play off him and the tries will come

Agree with this. Watched him all last year in NRL and he played left edge to much better effect. That said his stats this year are pretty good. There were a number of players last night who looked distinctly jaded after a tough season.

The problem is he plays the same position as mini and really he should be played from the off. We didn't really need to tie up such a huge chunk of salary cap in him when we also have ellis, mini and manu (although we signed pritchard before him) as back row options. His £175k a year would have been much better spent on a decent 6

When Ellis goes off and Pritchard replaces him I'd move Manu to the middle and Pritchard to the right. Yeah okay it's not his preferred left edge, but it still gets him out wide.

The first 10mins he was on he was used purely as a dummy runner.

Re: Pritchard : Sat Sep 24, 2016 5:09 pm
Pritchard is definately being mis used. He is not a prop and yet is being played as one. What other team would pay the sort of money he is getting (reportedly £300,000) for a prop. I have watched him regularly in the NRL and he is devastating running out wide. I think he must be p***ed off playing down the middle hence his injuries. Would be surprised if he is still with us next season. We desperately need a top class proven stand off next year as when Sneed is off the boil we have no one else and therefore the creativity disappears. I would not play Timuvarvie at stand off as all he does most of the time is pass the ball on. Would rather play abdul there at least he offers a bit of variety and take the line on.

Thats the problem we have Minichello,Ellis and Pritchard who all prefer the left edge position,
I would rather see Pritchard and Ellis coming off the bench with Pritchard taking the place of Minichello and Ellis moving right to take the place of Manu.
Both Manu and Mini do too many minutes for me.Radford has changed the interchange minutes recently and for me its not worked.
6 now has to be the priority for next season
