It's a semI final. It's an hour n half at worst 2 hours away

Footy fans will travel in numbers on a Tuesday from the likes of Newcastle to London etc.

The thing with semi-finals is that you don't need to go. If you lose then you wish you hadn't bothered. If you win then it all becomes about the final and planning begins on that trip. Faint hearted fans would be expected to stay away.

Me, I love them and have never missed one. On Friday I'm schlepping over from Wythenshawe which isn't that much nearer than Wigan. And I'm going to Doncaster via Hull and then picking a mate up in Lincolnshire somewhere on the way. Come on you Hull!

wigan played london at leigh in 2013 ok it was a saturday but still in their own backyard
