I agree that marketing a mini-pass would be a good move, particularly as it includes Leeds and Rovers two of the most attractive home games despite them both being bottom 4.

As for the crowd yesterday, it was a good in the context of Challenge Cup crowds, but I still get baffled by Rugby League fans will pay for a season pass and turn out for 'run of the mill' league games, but ask them to pay on the day for an all or nothing cup or playoff game and even with cheap prices they don't turn out. 1,739 fans less in the ground than when we played Catalan the other week, despite our form getting ever stronger and this game meaning more.

Easy answer, it was on tv. I know league games can be, but pass holders obviously still go to the game

I agree that fans in general seem averse to paying for cup games, but your post seems to suggest that its pass holders who didn't turn up. Have you some analysis to support this theory?

Actually thought there were over 10k there yesterday. East Stand appeared more full than it does for some home games, likewise the West stand

All I will say to that is some people have a lot less money than others. Well done to you for affording that much to support your team but a good lot of fans don't have that kind of disposable income but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be allowed to support our team.

I will be spending about £35-£40 for this game so if that had been £50 instead then I wouldn't have been able to go, barely can as it is.

I get that for some fans it's hard, that's why I'm never critical of anybody who goes to even just obe game or even none..unlike the bag of fecal matter that is Wizeb.
My point was that an extra few quid for the ticket- not £10-£15 as you suggested that would change your mind, if you are travelling and spending XX is a small % increase in the outlay. If match tickets are for instance £18 and they were still £18 for this cup match would that have stopped you going if you attended natches ad-hoc anyway?
As I said I'm not against the gesture, it's to be appluaded, it's just not proven to increase attendances other than on the match day itself, that's all I was saying. Certainly not a pissing contest as to how much any one fan spends to get to games just using it to make a point about the differential in reduced match tickets against not.

There was a discussion on the VT about a group ticket thing for WCC, CC early round games, internationals and any other non season ticket matches sold as a package. An away season ticket that benefits those amazing fans that travel to all if not the vast majority odf away games should be considered in conjunction with the RFL.

Rovers are doing a mini pass. Had an e-mail from them, I must've ordered tickets online for them to have my e-mail address. C&P below. The kids offer would be worth it for us as we have a family member who has been to all the games this year with us but we didn't want to get a pass in case he lost interest quickly, with us having 4 passes between us we've got him in for £1 & £5 4 times.

Memberships still available for 2016 with big savings

There is still time for Hull Kingston Rovers fans to book their place at the KC Lightstream Stadium for the rest of the 2016 campaign with a membership covering all remaining home matches in Super League XXI.

Available to buy now in store and online, memberships will cover First Utility Super League fixtures against Warrington Wolves, Huddersfield Giants and Leeds Rhinos, as well as a minimum of three home games in the Super 8’s phase of the competition later in the year.

With the possibility of also playing a fourth game on home soil during that section of the season, it means anybody purchasing a membership now would enjoy the chance to watch a minimum of six home games this year with the chance of a seventh included for free!

JUNIORS FROM £35

Prices for juniors in the Colin Hutton North and Joinery Depot East Stand have been slashed to just £35! Don't forget that in addition to receiving all the Junior Robin benefits tickets for every home and away game are included.
