The last few months, when have you seen him play? Have you attended any Fev or Resereve games?
The last sentence proves to me you don't watch games ( too busy moaning about the ref or listening to the radio), he did well last year, you could dig up threads with him been praised by fans and the coaching team, he has work to do, but he has great talent which he had shown already in patches in SL.
Totally agree. He has the talent to be a top player but he needs to sort his weight out.

I've watched every game we've played for the last several seasons. Many of them several times. Something you might have thought about were you not in a hurry to get personal rather than back up your argument in a rational manner.
I said he had undoubted talent (something else you seem to have missed) but I disagree with your assessment of the overall quality of his performances. His lack of fitness hampers his impact on games and his defence is poor for someone of his size. These are both things that could be worked on and improved but there is little evidence that he is doing so. Something that the coaching staff have remarked on BTW.
I could probably add something snarky now about you, just to fit in with the tone of your post above. But I can't be arsed TBH.
Tripe. He was much better than that. Showed some real good stuff at times. As expected at that age had a couple of games were he struggled but had some real promise about him. But had some major contributions in a number of games. Go have a watch of kr game at their place after losing pryce early. Still only 20. So I'll certainly trust my own eyes and give him benefit of the doubt. Given we're currently top with players like Bowden Green houghton naughton Sneyd yeaman n Pryce who were all poop or bang average or won't make it according to many on here only a matter of months ago
Which is what I meant by showing flashes of his undoubted talent. Apparently this was too complex a phrase for some to comprehend.
If he's as good as you say then no doubt he'll be making a huge impact in the lower leagues and he'll go on to be a great success in SL. I hope you're right. Let's see how things play out.
Has abdul lost any weight? That's his main problem IMO. If he can lose some weight, gain some speed and improve his endurance he has a chance. if he doesn't he'll be the next scott murrell

See you have ignored my first question, you said your opinion was based on the last 4 months, how many games have you seen him play in that time?
The radio comment was made in reference to many in game post you make with your opinion on the game whilst listening to the radio.
I guess we won't agree on Abdul, but we played some good rugby when he played 6 in the 8's last year, nobody is saying he hasnt work to do, but saying last season he was average or poor is harsh on him.
I still think he will make it as a SL player, if that is at Hull is another matter as he OOC and if his attitude isn't right Radford will get rid.
If you had something sarky to say you would have done, it just means you couldn't think of anything.

First off, I said that people (not me) were basing their opinion on the last several months (not 4). Personally I'm basing my opinion on what he did in SL for us. I watched the game last night specifically to see how he was going - because I want him to succeed - and was disappointed to see no sign of improvement whatsoever.
What I post during games is my reaction to the commentary/footage in the heat of the moment. In fact you'll notice that I don't post that much during games any more as Twitter is more appropriate for that kind of stuff TBH. When I post about a game in detail, or pass an opinion on how well or not a player performed, I do it after seeing the game. If there's a controversial incident I will caveat my comments or watch it several times before posting about it. I even do this when I've been to games because it's easy to miss stuff in the heat of the moment. I've posted on numerous occasions that I've subscribed to FC Live since it started and have therefore seen every single game we've played since - home and away - so the radio comment was way wide of the mark however you intended it.
We have different definitions of average I guess. And that's fine. I'm not the one berating everyone for not seeing his obvious superstardom. The lad has bags of talent but he just isn't making good use of it, and I've seen no evidence that he's going to do that any time soon. Frankly I hope you're right and I'm wrong because I would love us to produce a talented pivot of our own and he has the right skills to be that player. There are big questions over his attitude and application though IMO.
Trust me - I can snark for England and there's never an occasion when I can't come up with something. Sometimes it just isn't worth the effort.
Reece Dean is THE stand out young player we have at the club, we should have gone that extra mile to have kept him at the club.
With all the issues the club has had at halfback over the years it would be a real shame to see a few injuries and us making do with Washbrook at half back on occasion. Dean is one of them players who can change a game much like Jamie Shaul.
I think we'll regret letting the lad go.
What a absolute load of bullshite.
My views on Reece Dean are well known, I'm not going to bother repeating them.
The club have offered those they wanted to keep deals. Deals that are fair and transparent and consistent across our youth. The minute we change that for one player that's had one good year we open the door for every flash in the pan.
Those that don't want to be part of this, well, don't let the door hit your booty on the way out.
Think we are building a strong culture at the club now. The best way to continue to do that is to have a fair and equitable pay structure. We will lose some players along the way, but I'd rather that than continue as we have been over the recent past . We seem to have a real camaraderie on the field now, and that can't be happening by accident.
