Nathan Massey signed to replace him? (Just a rumour over on the Rovers forum).
If it was true we have more than enough back rowers that he doesn't need replacing.

I guess if Leeds are interested it would to cover for JJB who I would expect to retire early. Never thought Westerman was the type of individual who would fit in at Leeds but if he's happy for a wage cut and a move to a club who could potentially take him to the next level
then it could work for both party's because he does have massive potential. Not sure on this one to be fair but can see all the reasons why it could work for him at Leeds if he buckles down.

Why would we want to do that?
Maybe because what we have is not suitable at the moment. Sneyd needs assistance. Abdull to 13. Pryce last season before retiring? Rankin gone. Tyson Wilson should have been making moves by now. I personally think we are short there. From what I heard I don't think I'm the only one who thinks that.

Not one to stick up for Standee, but he's right about it being a stupid decision by the coach and will make the owner look stupid too.
You just shouldn't sell your best players, but we've already sold one! How can you justify selling a player who less than 12 months ago was playing for England? Especially as we haven't got anyone anywhere near close to replacing him. Abdull's not ready and nobody else at the club plays 13.
Stupid decision.
