Re: should the fans take action? : Sun Apr 26, 2015 2:49 pm
I like the HDM article and would certainly contribute if it were to be organised.

I don't think a boycott of a cup game would have any effect at all as it could be argued that the low crowd figure was down to general apathy towards the cup.

For me not attending the next home game en mass against Salford would be more appropriate and send out a short sharp shock to the management.
Yes it's not nice hurting the club we love but it would be akin to pulling off a plaster quickly then hopefully instead of just continue to linger from one disaster to another losing fans along the way Pearson must be forced to act.
I certainly will not be attending until this debacle ends. Yes it initially hurts not going but then that hurt turns to general apathy so I would urge the disgruntled mass to do likewise and hopefully this hurt will prolong no longer just think of doing it as being for the greater good.
I will also be e-mailing Adam again to get his thoughts now.

I will put my hands up and admit I am a" any kind of weather supporter"but feel aggrieved that because of that loyalty I will accept anything.Like many others i spend a shed load of money following Fc in the way of passes ,merchandise and every away game, and that's not just for me its a family of four. What we watched on Friday was pure dross and make no mistake I have let my feeling known. What I will not do is walk away from the Club I have followed for over 50yrs.I fully agree something has to be done and quick or the pay on the day fans will stay away and the Club can ill afford that. Its been said that Pearson is only in it for his back pocket ? Its cost him a small fortune so far and he will have got nothing back so how on earth fans think he is making money from the club is beyond me.The way forward in my view is for Pearson to meet with some fans and listen to what they have to say and for him to explain why it looks as if he is not bothered, this needs to be done in a balanced way and not threats because I doubt he would do anything if blackmailed with walk outs, ect. What the need is fans to stay loyal but the club need to show they care what the fans want. I think people on here tend to forget that a only a tiny percentage of the supporter base read this.

Trying to organise a boycott is laughable.

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!

Re: should the fans take action? : Sun Apr 26, 2015 5:15 pm
Not trolling but why hurt the club by not turning up. A novel way would be to turn up in numbers but be completely silent for the game even when scoring.. Make it a library.

Lets not forget there's the Hull sites on F/B & Twitter also , A co-ordinated approach across all forms of social media , Radio & local press would reach quite a lot of fans imo . We first have to nail the game & time the protests should take place the get it out there .

This is Hull , we all know how quickly rumors spread in this city .

There is no easy answer to all of this and those calling for a boycott or other action at the derision of some only do so out of frustration and the hope something will change for the better.

I'm not calling the IAKOW weather brigade here who clearly not happy will still attend anyway but how would you feel if the actions of a few changed the club for the better for the majority would you all still be willing to mock and call those who did something?
This is not solely directed at you but a genuine question for those of you on here.

am not mocking you as i partly agree with you, your right about one thing though there is no easy answer, but we all have a choice about whether we go or not,
