A new low : Sat Apr 25, 2015 1:13 pm
Last night will go down as one of the low points in the history of this club, it was a night when for most of us the myth of IAKOW was finally put to death and what a a slow painful one it proved to be. I have been going to FC since the mid 60s and I can not ever remember OLD FAITHFUL NOT BEING SUNG at some point in the match and that is sad. Fans fighting amongst themselves in the East stand, many many leaving with five minutes to go others upset at them going and even I left when the hooter went its becoming a bloody chore going watch.Sick of watching the same old rubbish week in week out for years now, we ahve bought badly because the the two halfbacks to solve our problems are now part of the problem that is FC. We have a coach who is out of his depth, an owner who has no idea about RL and it shows, a club lacking leadership, direction and looking down the barrel of a relegation battle we are in no shape to fight.
If I choose to return next week I am no longer joining in old faithful, I am also sick to death of the constant problems with the stadium, the Allams its just one thing after another. It needs sorting out, no one else has this thing hanging over them week in week its dominating sport in the city.
One thing for certain you need only open one maybe two stands next year because the fans will walk with there wallets glued to in there pockets now, its late. far too late we do not trust them anymore and never will again. Bring Brian Smith in , Bring in Benji Marshall you can even bring in the choir invisible to sing in the West upper but you have now killed the golden goose IAKOW is dead once and for all.
No pride left ....................
