didn't go, so shouldn't comment really. so was really interested in your take on the game ,as I hate listening to the game on the radio.(turned it off after 10mins) cant understand the difference from coming away from the ground at Huddersfield talking about how good the defence was, and also the warrington game, to then let in 32 pts against Salford beggars belief!!? very disappointing, and as you say smacks of "same old same old." lets hope they come out breathing fire against leeds ,they need to!

Like subway, I had to make do with the radio version of the match. I listened to the output from Radio Manchester and it was really professional and completely unbiased (unlike our local setup). Unfortunately it was the usual roller coaster of a match and having got in front I thought we would go on and win but as you say this is FC and very rarely do things go to plan.
We really do have to win on Thursday or the some of the faithful will vote with their feet and support will drop away.
Thanks for your thoughts Wilf and lets hope next week's edition of the diary is written from a happier viewpoint.

Thanks for this weeks diary Wilf, I usually get carried away but I do't think I'll bother this season.

born in airlie str,1939.german landmine that fell on boulevard, also blew up half of our house.thats why i dont like germans.not because they blew our house and boulevard up,but because the gerry pillock was aiming for craven park.
