"What manner of men are these who wear the maroon beret?
They are firstly, all volunteers and are then toughened by hard physical training. As a result they have that infectious optimism and that offensive eagerness which comes from physical well being. They have jumped from the air and by doing so have conquered fear.
Their duty lies in the van of battle; they are proud of their honour and have never failed in any task. They have the highest standards in all things whether it be skills in battle or smartness in execution of all peacetime duties.
They have shown themselves to be as tenacious and determined in defence as they are courageous in attack. They are in fact, men apart.
Every Man an Emperor."

I do appreciate these last few comments. But at the end of the day even if I sold all the tickets we have for this game, I will no way cover what it has just cost me for new satellite equipment, installation & subscription to the French channel - which is a commercial & not domestic subscription = mega bucks!!
Also as those who have already bought tickets from me will confirm, we are making a £1per ticket sold donation to Blesma- British limbless ex services mens association (who we are doing a sponsored tank pull for in 2weeks) & Hull wyke U 11's -the team I coach.
Sorry if people find £5 to much but it is the same price as we charged over 5years ago for the first Catalan game we showed in Clarence.
I don't want to get into a slagging match over this and I'm not trying to rip people off!! I'm just a FC fan with a pub who is show a game that most people won't ever get to see.

Rant over;)
Respect to you mate!
Get them told. £5 is peanuts, and £1 is donated to a good cause, not only are people paying to watch the team they support, they are supporting a good cause!
I'll try and find a stream, should know by tomorrow morning, if not ill buy a ticket.

The bit in bold rather undoes all that went before it.
If Ian had stated he'd had to buy a new receiver, subscribe, donate to charity, etc, etc. then fair enough. He didn't so that's why people felt it was overpriced.

Well said. people have a choice of whether to pay the fiver and watch the game or not bother. He's running a business and can charge what he wants
