"They supercede individuals, they supercede the team and they supercede the club. Our club is a traditional, working class club and the supporters are loyal and passionate and to see them go away happy really makes my day." Craig Sandercock.
Directly from Rovers, I can't think of anyone of the top of my head since Paul Rose and that was nearly 30 years ago! Possibly Phil Edmonds, I think both came for the 1982-83 season.
EDIT: Garry Clark?
Garry Clark is the only one I can think of 1990 ish .

Lee Richardson.
I think that the tipping point in the balance of power swinging from the West to the East in this city came when you took Paul Stamp off our hands a couple of seasons ago.
I'd be pleased with the signing of Watts , Got to get his head sorted though. As for Taylor , I was told by a red that he is leaving Rovers but he wont be going to Hull nor Saints. Leeds would be my guess.
Shows how far Rovers have come in the last few years. A player deemed surplus to requirements at Hull KR signs for the mighty Hull FC. I would be upset if you where to sign Taylor, Hodgson or Lovegrove so I'm hoping Rovers have already given those three long term deals. Hearing today Shannon Mcdonnell has signed a two year deal at Rovers which is one less worry as that kid is really starting to show his class.
Wasn't Liam Watts voted the best young player in Super League less than 2 years ago? How come Sandercock has failed to enable Watts to realise his potential?
I'm not sure writing him off so comprehensively when he's only 21 and has significant untapped potential is very mature.
