I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Funny this but one thing that was mentioned was that Last was the one advocating a change in direction onfeild when games were slipping and Radford maintained his “gut feeling” game plan, basically he wouldn’t be swayed. I’m sticking to “give Last a chance” let’s see how he utilises Purtill and Ellis, the A team’s been scrapped anyway.

I've said before that as Radford had control of all aspects I think this was his downfall with his blinkered vision. You only have to look back when AP stated we needed some extra help in the coaching set up and yet Radford said its not something he is looking at or was needed, then Purtill was signed 2 weeks later.

It does seem that very little input was taken and used by Radford, so hopefully Last & Purtill can make the changes that are and were needed and bring in fresh game plans and structures.

The club and players needs stability right now so its a no brainer to let Last, Purtill and Ellis have a crack and to be honest we should know in 3 or 4 games if things have improved or not from Radfords tenure.

I dont often watch NZ Warriors as they are usually disapointing, and unsure if finances would allow it...but Blake Green is leaving them at the end of the season. 34 soon but was always a good performer for Wigan and Rovers back in the day.

Would rather have Kyle Eastmond who's been released by his union team. 30 years of age, brilliant running game , maybe too expensive though, although only 50% of his salary would count towards the cap in his first season. 75% in season two.

Shame coronovirus has struck would be a perfect Kelly replacement

As seen with Connor , without a running half next to Sneyd we are very predictable.

Cant beleive he is still only 30, feels like he's been on the go forever. And agree Connor isnt the answer at 6.

It will be interesting to see what Last does with Connor, particularly as its Albos final season here.
The mistake Radford made was to give Connor the 6 shirt then playing him ahead of Kelly.
Probably contributed to losing his job.
Our best and balanced team should always be on the field even though players are leaving and that includes playing Ratu and Kelly at 6.

It's a difficult situation as if Connor insists he wants to be a 6 I can only see a parting of the ways. Unless he's happy to play centre where I think him and Fonua will be dynamite.

The only other option was at fullback which is now ruled out due to Shauls new deal. I'd of released shaul and played Connor as a creative pivot there, with Wynne used as backup.

I think we l see Carlos there personally, unless we can really scrape some funding together by January

Kelly at 6 every day of the week for me. Can't remember a time when we've had 3 quality centres in the squad like we do now, but can't help worrying that we will lose Carlos even though it sounds like we're not planning more departures. Not heard anything, just a concern.

Connor deserves a chance, showed in a few games including internationally he can play 6, streets ahead of Carlos as a half.

Need to keep as many players as possible and hopefully recruit at least one player, other teams recruiting and retaining, even Cas and Salford who have alot less money than us or doing things in the market.

I really thought we would challenge but a mixture of keeping Radford too long and Covid has set us back.

He's a petulant little person, never a six.

Cam Smith, 2 years plus an option (if one of us wins the lottery tonight)
