What a sad day with so many memories of some great trips there.

Would it be a nice gesture of the club to offer York season ticket holders the chance to use their pass for our last 4 home games being our most local side (apart from Rovers)
Obviously they would rather their club be around, but could be a nice gesture

Looks like there's some light at the end of the tunnel, with the chairman agreeing to sell to a local businessman.

Fingers crossed for them, but knowing the history of the current owner I wouldn't get too excited until the ink has dried and the club are able to make an announcement.

Whilst its sad news, theyve been bust a few times now and you simply cant keep throwing money at something that isnt working. York as a City just isnt a hotbed for sport, the football team are amongst the worst supported and least sucessful given the size of the City and quite a wide geographic area to draw support from.

York now carrying on until the end of the season at the very least.

And..... Bradford Bulls face a winding-up order from HM Revenue & Customs .
