Don’t have to go that far back, it didn’t happen in 2017. Leigh had come up but we opened against Hull. Other than that not sure!

I'll consider myself thoroughly shot down. Next up, you'll be trying to tell us that the earth isnt flat either :D

I thought we'd got over the days when we were set up as sacrificial lambs for newly promoted sides/sides with a new stadium etc. Not this time, we'll bury them.
if there's any lambs its going to be Leeds can't wait to bury them too :D
“The bond between the players is something I’ve never had with any other club. Everyone comes into one and we’re all one group. Whenever we get a new signing, everyone just embraces the culture. It’s what I love about this club and I just can’t wait for the journey ahead.”

i though we'd played more promloted sides but just looking back we didn't get Hudds in 2003, or salford in 2004, or Leigh in 2005, or Cas in 2006, or Hull KR in 2007, or Harlequins in 2008, or Crusaders in 2009 or has been mentioned leigh when they came up.
We got Widnes in 2012 and hull KR in 2017 though. Must be short term memory.

Another one with bloody facts to ruining the conspiracy theory

Strange isnt it, you would have thought that we played the promoted side every time.
There's no fun in getting old :D

I am sure we did play Hull KR first round in 07? Ben Cockayne went under the sticks near to the very end to beat us.

Might be my memory failing me.

LOL, good memory lost 14-9. I started to go backwards to see who we played on Wikipedia but they don't have the full games played over the years, so had to move to the RL Project for the earlier ones, I ended up a bit muddled up along the way.

About right to lose to a newly promoted team at that time, then the week after beat Saints

This will be an interesting trip, I'm not sure their ground has a stand!

Yes we played, and got beat by Hull KR in 2007.

Remember it well.

Was stuck u in the East Stand with Mrs EW, and her friends when Cockayne went over, and have never lived it down since
