I'm sure they said on Thursday at the game that he'd signed a new deal with the Giants.

Apparently Thewlis gave him a new deal and the new coach has come in said he does not want him so they are desperately trying to offload him as well as Lee Gaskell as they take up a fair chunk of the cap.
