You don't have to explain yerself it's your money to spend it where you want, what I said was if the rumours are true and it does shut, then perhaps the wakey fans will spend it in the ground instead, no brainer really end of.

Brilliant logic and so typically Wakefield. So whilst none of the money spent at the Con club goes towards team building you’d rather save a few quid.

How exactly do you think clubs are funded? Your right it’s a no brainier but not in the way you think.

True the choice is yours but if I see you posting anymore about the club lacking ambition I’ll be sure to remind you about the lack of your.

think you'll find that the price is average at most events held,
I take it you are one that will fill on alcohol before going up town expecting to have a good time at the pubs and clubs expenses and you wonder why these said places are shutting down

everyone like s a bargain but can you not see what your doing for the sake of a few quid

I've spoken a couple of times to the landlord of the pub opposite Wheldon Road. He explained that everyone thinks it is a gold mine due to match day, but he put it into perspective. It is maybe 2 hours before and 1 hour after each match for 14/15 matches a year that it is busy. This is not really sustainable as a business model hence he also lets out rooms as a B&B. This might explain why so many other establishments down Wheldon Rd (like The Early Bath etc) and around Belle Vue no longer exist. Society has changed and we don't really have as big a drinking out culture as before.

As for myself I drive to matches so can't drink at games. I had a coke whilst watching the football in The Rollin Shack yesterday but would love to have bought some real ale instead.

I like it in the Cons club, that's why I go in there. Not so keen on bar in ground. Do spend money in ground just not on alcohol.

in fact why not call at the local shop and get a few tinnies and find a hedge to crawl under, even bigger saving as you'll get more for your money
