As it is football related, probably a bit off topic.

Saw plans yesterday, for the two Ossett football teams merging.

Now I know BLM has mentioned that a lot of work is going, or has gone on with Ossett Albion recently, but they have a new owner who wants to turn them into a professional outfit, and has also ambition for football in the city and Wakefield Trinity

Is this the start of the progression, and could we be looking at a stadium long term where this would be shared between the one football team and Wakefield Trinity

Only if the football lot don't mention that when applying or planning permission, otherwise our friends at County Hall will find an excuse to delay or refuse it.
