Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I think there needs to be a minimum of 2000 seats, dewsbury has 900

so with the addition of 1100 temporary seating it would be ok. If that's the only reason ths far end of the ground would accommodate that quit easily I would have thought. Also the ground must be just over the Wakefield boundary because WMDC had a refuse yard right next to the ground ,a new housing developments now on it.

I will go anywhere, this is one of the best squads we have had in years and they deserve decent support.

So will I, but tbh that's what sad about this whole thing. The fact we have a great squad, a good Coach and a man in charge who knows what he's doing and we should be looking forward to next year and the year after etc, but instead we're worried about bloody stadium issues and our SL status after next season. I suppose there's not much you can do but just get behind them and enjoy this coming season.

It may have been the main thing but I also suspect no one wanted to hear whispers of merger talks again. Saying that if 88m isn't playing ball at all, we could go up there till Newmarket hits its trigger point.

I probably agree though with what a few people have said, it's closer to SL standard than Dewsbury's (no disrespect to their ground in that) with a capacity just short of 10k so would do us fine in that way. From what I remember reading last year, they were happy to have us there as well. Don't know if that's changed since though. In the mess that we suddenly find ourselves, it probably makes the most logical choice.

I might well be proved wrong but as I understand it we are only gonna be allowed one season by the RL at Dewsbury. Would we be allowed more time if at Feath? We'd still be in the Wakefield area, and have a ground that on paper has greater capacity than BV? I don't know how criteria regarding corporate etc come into play but Feath does seem the better option for me. That's assuming they'd want us there. I do find that at times we're a little arrogant regarding Dewsbury and their ground, we talk of moving in as tenants then want to build new possibly temporary stands, it's not our ground to do such changes. Plus I can't see us affording the cost of a new all seating stand, didn't MC suggest that temporary stands were costly?

I suspect that the arrogance only comes from the fans and that MC has been dealing with the various Chairmen in a much more civilised and respectful manner.
