Maybe you could provide professional oversight to the barrister, just to make sure he's got all his ducks in a row beforehand? Alternatively, and this is from someone who readily acknowledges to being a victim of above average syndrome, you could stop pretending to be an expert on everything?

No mention either of the trigger point at Newmarket which will be a major player in all this.

I think everyone is aware that they (York C, council etc.) had no intention of ever reaching the "trigger point" while ever a club by the name of Wakefield Trinity are in existence in the top flight. hence I presume, little need to mention that particular red herring.

Don't need to pretend.

No in all seriousness you’re right, i'll step back from the forum, i realise having views that might not necessarily 100% fit with with the status quo and is scorned upon and a united front needs to be seen right now. Lets hope the club come through the other side with potentialy the biggest and most important win of its history. Good luck to all involved. Go get 'em!

Just one question, anyone know of the boxing day game is still at Belle Vue?

Looking at the Wakefield Express article they have published the whole statement minus 1 sentence...

Which sentence..

"We are aware that the Tigers will own the freehold of their stadium at a transfer cost of £1."

To me that confirms that the WE are pushing the narrative of Box and co. I mean why would you leave that line out?

You would have to expect when the land went into brown belt the value would increased significantly not to mention the value increase for land banking since 2011.

Whether you post here or not is a matter of supreme indifference to me; my issue is that you appear to have cast yourself as a renaissance polymath with expertise that goes way beyond opinion - and that's just annoying enough for me to feel a need to point it out.

Excellent response from the club and once again Carter look's like the only one in this debacle with any class.
WMDC and the gaggle of chancers have behaved and are still behaving quite appallingly.

If there is any justice, the whole lot of them should end up in the stock's at City Limits and passers by could then show them just what they think.

Any protests planned ?

Good luck with the legal action, one thing about planning law is it is a complicated area with so many sections and sub-sections it blows even the experts minds. There is every chance either side could win or lose the case purely on a relatively minor technicality, no matter how solid their case looks. It is a pain to be honest and they usually drag on way longer than they should. I'll certainly be an interested spectator from afar.
