Flying out of Manchester Airport on Friday, expecting a lot of extra security there.

Mate check your ticket it may say to be there 3 hours before, most people dont take any notice, I would get there in good time to save stress!

What exactly is being changed in entering the ground at your place?
Is it going to be permanent practice because doing it straight after this attack you might as well be doing it 10 years from now because this problem isn't going away.
I just find it hard that where a big gathering of people for any event in a city,town or village can be monitored continually.
I wonder if Normanton Gala later on in the year where a good few people assemble later on watching the fireworks will have extra security....the answer is no ,I really can't see an answer to this.

It's always the same...an attack happens,security is beefed up ,slacken up a few years later and boom.
Either do it continually or don't bother

There is a sound reason for beefing up security - somewhere there is a bomb maker who has just become active and until he's caught there's a clear and present danger.

Correct - the terror status changing from severe to critical means extra vigilance and measures have to come
into force during this time.

...are you for real, pal.....what do you want ??...armed police officers on every street corner indefinitely ???, tell you what, the navy and air force don't seem particularly busy at the moment, so let's bring them in to support the police and soldiers too.
And as for the cost...what's a few billion quid ????

From what we learnt from Manchester if the same scenario happened at BV . No terrorist would even try and enter the ground .He would just Walk on Dony Road and get the crowd as they all poured out. Totally unstoppable from a security perspective.
