Think it was a good solid perfornance all round, without ever getting out of second gear.

Think Widnes spoiling tactics and the referee ruined the game though.

Great performance Wakefield. Defence was great. Keep it up and you should fear no-one. Widnes shouldn't be in Superleague.

I note that since they abandoned their board on here in favour of the independent echo chamber created by Fully, there's a weekly invasion of the VT to engage in self-congratulatory gloating; with good reason though - they were superb yesterday.

Back to us - that was a clinical and efficient performance to put Widnes to the sword; they didn't present much of a challenge like, so I was pleased that we just did what we had to do to and moved on.
