It's strange this isn't it, keeping hold of our best youngsters on long deals and signing our better players for a few more years. I could get used to this.

England is one of the most underrated props in Super League. Great news! Well done to the club in retaining him.

Fantastic news, excellent work by MC and his colleagues. In my opinion England was our best player last season, he consistently played to very high standards. I think he would have attracted interest from every club in the league, he would get in every SL team match day 17. A great signing. Starting props of England and Huby is a massive jump up in ability for us, I think you have to go back to 1979 when we had the great John Burke and the magnificent Trevor Skerett to match them.

Got to admit a 4 strong starting pack Huby,Fifita,England, Allgood with Hirst as 5th choice is a great pack well done Carter for getting these players in

Have to say I've never known us get it more right on the field than now. Despite it being a sin to suggest this but on paper we are now as good as Cas Imho - I only use them as a barometer because they seem to be certain posters be all and end all.

What makes this really upsetting though is the utter lack of progress on the Stadium. It's like the ultimate glass ceiling - no matter how well we do we can only ever go so high - deeply frustrating for us all

TBH he looks the break out player to me - apart from Batchelor he looks our best prospect and our best prop so far.

Vastman : 100 % correct. Going to be a tough call for Chester. Walker and Batchelor have earned a place in the 17
