Tom's mistake on that try wasn't the missed tackle for me. He almost had him and slowed him down enough for others to get him.

What he didn't do was get back up and reload back into position. The try was scored because he wasn't stood on the line.

Small thing that he'll be able to work on.

It was both imo, his attempt at tackling the strong Talanoa around his chest, just to keep getting pushed away was poor and allowed them to get so close to our line, he should have gone low and he knew it. All part of his learning curve though.
