Defence seems to be a concern.

Most people would agree that Brian Smith got the team fitter but could not get the team to win.

Chris Chester seemed to get the players to believe in their ability a little more and our attack gained us some excellent wins.

Unfortunately as the wins have become less frequent so have the holes in the defence.

Lack of mental toughness, a fall in fitness levels, players switching off..........you tell me.

I have watched this team since 1961 so I have seen some good times as well as bad.

However the points we have conceeded this season is unacceptable and before we sign any more over rated and over paid ex NRL players a full analysis of value for money in regard to players needs to be conducted asap.

It's a real shame a great season has ended with some real thrashings and generally poor and letheragic performances.
What with the ground fiasco it's all gone rather gloomy hasn't it?

I think our only hope of a win is against Catalans at home in a few weeks, and they will be up for it as they are in a similar
position to ourselves, all a big shame really.

I think Widnes was our only real hope of a win just like we were their only hope. Will be making the trip to Cas more out of tradition than in support of our wasters in two weeks time. Saints game deffo gives me a free weekend though.

My concern is that the majority of this squad will start next season and, on recent form at least, looks like we'll struggle to even be competitive.

Just seen highlights and a championship clubs would have beaten us playing like that. Feel for fans that travelled.

We are player depleted as well as being physically and mentally drained.

No more injuries than anyone else, agree that we look the least fit team in the League, why we should be more mentally drained than any other team I have no idea.
