Yep, that's what I was trying to say and failed.
Talk of a deal for Leigh half-back Martyn Ridyard is some way off.
The Wildcats have been heavily linked with the out of favour half-back for the remainder of this year on a loan deal, after Ridyard fell down the pecking order at the centurions following the arrival of Josh Drinkwater and Travis Burns.
League Express understands that althought the Wildcats retain an interest in the player, there are numerous details to be sorted before any transfer can begin to be discussed.
One key issue is finance, with Wakefield insistent that they have to move a player on before any deal can be struck up for a new player.
The transfer could yet be resurrected in the coming days as the situation could change quickly if Wakefield manage to offload a player, but for now talk of a Ridyard move has cooled.
There it is in it's entirety, I suppose he's got a player or two in mind what's occ at the end of the season, getting somebody to take might be a problem though.
