Phil Clarke has proved himself in the past to be a clueless idiot, him coming out with stuff like that is actually good for us as the opposite will likely happen.

LOL Phil Clarke. His opinion would have probably been the same if he was asked the same question weeks ago and look how wrong he'd have been. We'll obviously get beat at some point but I'll be very happy if we can win 50% of our games before the split. As for Hudds winning all their games, I personally can't see any team gong unbeaten.

Tomorrows match will be hard it's make or break for Salford and they will have targeted this match. We've won our last 2 matches that we weren't expected to win so we are 4 points better off than expected. We just need to take one match at a time and keep in top 8.

He's tipped Salford for a shock win! Why a shock, home team, relatively good form? If it wasn't for the 6 point deduction they would be two points behind us.

How the hell can you say we will only manage one more win before the split ?
The teams we are going to play in the next few weeks are below us and have been in shocking form recently.
We are virtually injury free with no signs of fatigue and we are riding the crest of a wave, we beat the form teams other than Hull fc.
If anything, the logical conclusion is a few of the teams we will be playing will be on the end of a good hiding......... ala Wigan.

He also said that Leeds would win 6 from their next 8. I don't think even the most optimistic Leeds fan will reckon they'll pull that off.

For what it's worth it agree with him about Huddersfield. Perhaps they might not win out but I fancy they will surge into the 8, but at widnes expense . Leeds will not win 6 from 8, 4 at best.

Yes Hudds are looking more and more like their old selves, they could defo still make the 8 . We play them soon both in the Cup and at theirs. For Leeds if they continue like they have, I can only see maybe a couple of wins, Widnes and Hull KR. They've got Wire & Catalans next and if they lose those, it's going to be really hard for them to get any winning belief or confidence behind them at all.

In our case , the squads mostly fit, full of confidence & plenty of momentum, I see no reason why we can't at least win the majority of our our home games which are Hull KR, Leeds, Saints and Cas. We've got to go to Salford, hudds , Wigan & Catalan. Even those away games, if we play like we have been doing , I'd fancy a couple of those as well. It'd take some cataclysmic loss of form & confidence to go 1 from 8 from here out imo but this is Wakey and sillier things have happened.

all we need to win is 2/8 and we wil be safe but I have to agree I think its going to be tough , our slump is coming starting tonight I think we will get towled up for some reason which would make HULL KR next week massive

I guess he says these things to get a reaction - and it clearly works; I can actually see the logic of his prediction about our results - there are some losses coming, and with Wigan and Shudds finding their form and our previous victories over Wire and Catalans being somewhat 'freakish' - it's hardly going out on a limb to suggest that we won't repeat those results when we play them again.

But Shudds won't win every game and Leeds, I think, are shot - they'll pick up some wins, but not enough.

We have a tough run, starting tonight - Salford will be buoyed by the news of their independent panel and will be targeting this game.
