How come when ever I go on the York site JC never gets a mention, is he in the first team? I'm very interested in his progress.

When Phil Clark stated that one of our three young players would be a future International, one a Man of Steal and one another acholade (can't remember what he said) just out of interest who do you think each statemant refered to?

We didn't have that much ball vs Hull and got pumped in the end, last night we did ok defensively but don't think we're ready to invite more pressure on ourselves just yet. Tansay's experience will reduce that.

To be fair though, as you say, he is a better defender than Tansey, so might be what we need to protect BJB, who seems to alternate between a tackling god and being powder puff.

That is very true, normally I would be on his back more than I am but I do think he's trying but his timing is still way off - he should have made the tackle at Widnes last night - he got it all right bar the last bit. For this reason I personally rate the more reliable Owen, not as quick but tackles well and has a knack of popping up in the right place to score tries.

It was a little bit tongue in cheek Vasty, yes he's in the 1st team, 3 tries in 4 games definitely Tom and Max in the predictions and I think Jordan may have been the third, having an abundance of 2nd rowers at the moment he's going to have to be patient for his chance to be given.

Walton/Bill Tupou to replace Gibson at centre in CC and beyond IMHO...

I was only saying this morning how well we have covered the centre positions this year. Even having lost Tupou,Arundel, Lyne and now Gibson we could still put Hall and Walton in there and not look particularly weak.
Also i suspect Tupou is not v far away from coming back.

I dont think there would be many loanees out there that would be an improvement on what we already have.

Would rather be in the position we are now regarding injuries,than last year.
All in the forwards last year, all in the backs of his year.
Unfortunate but easier to cover.

Would think Chester will go with Hall and Walton next week and probs Hall and B.Toups week after as for Tansey yes he is versatile and can play centre but for me is a better full back but can be a diamond or dirt and we have full back covered very well.
