Matt Ryan : Wed Jul 01, 2015 9:45 pm
Best game of the season tonight, fabulous try where he just kept going and going! Took a big knock but got up and carried on. Great to see commitment like that

I have to agree I thought he rolled his sleeves up and got stuck in. Carried the ball with confidence too.

Very close to man of the match surely - played like he did last season!

Give the bloke a roll in his preferred position and a player like Ryan will carry it out.
Move him around and have him in and out of the team and people get on his back, saying he's not the same player we had last season.
Point proved tonight, as has been said, took a big knock first tackle of second half but ploughed on.

Literally. Looked like he took a bang to the balls that first tackle on the second half.

Isn't it funny. I actually thought he was having a poor game until I started noticing him late in the game.
Just shows how a different angle or concentrating on someone else changes your perspective.
He looked dead on his feet so don't know how he managed to get over the line. I hope he can keep that going.

Nah, possibly the only player who started to play at 8pm not 8.15pm.

To be honest he was getting a pasting from Ellis for a large part of the game until Ellis went off but he kept coming and coming. I think Ellis going off was the turning point for him though
