Tough as nails - he already looks knackered when he takes the field, but he just keeps going and going; unspectacular, unassuming and completely unlikely, but bloody good value.

I'm not convinced by Ryan, he's lots of energy but I'd question his impact on the game as already mentioned an aging Ellis kept him well in check.

He was well looked after by one of the hardest hitting, experienced forwards in the British game? Shame on him...

Ellis is old, injury prone and quite frankly an average has been. Why do you think he's playing for Hull?

The younger Ryan should've done a lot better job against a crocked pensioner.

When fit, he's still the best 2nd rower in the league. But for injuries, prob a dead cert for dream team.

No shame at all and that was not what I meant by the post. I rate Ellis very highly, but he is not the player he once was, injuries and wear and tear have understandably taken their toll. But for me I'm not convinced by Ryan, Jordan Crowther for instance sat Morley on his booty against salford with some impressive tackles, and I'm pretty sure he is also one of the hardest hitting most experienced forwards in the British game,

An 18yr old put him down on several occasions and a 19yr old held him up over the line he's been a class player and still a good player,but let's not get carried away,eh.
